My name is Chef Bama or chef le bama, and originally I'm from Alabama. Fresh out of Highschool at just the tender age of 18 I was shipped off to Iraq in the name of freedom. I truly thought my life was over as like most Highschool grads I just wanted to go to college. Well God is amazing because that culture shock ended up changing my life and opening my mind to things I just didn't feel like college could provide. Through my love for food I built life lasting relationships with great people of all walks of life. I thought the rest of the world hated Americans, but that's not it at all Im here to tell the world great people exist everywhere and the most genuine way to connect with someone is through food (my opinion). Im just trying to put as many tasty recipes in front of you as possible. I strongly feel like we as humans should always expand out pallet. Food brings us all together because of its commonality. If we use this to engage with other cultures in a positive manner this can truly change the world. Ive traveled all over this earth and I aim to bring you some of the tasty flavors I've had the chance to experience. Im growing and I want you guys to grow with me as a family. Im nothing without all of you guys and when you read this I want you to know I mean it. The world needs more love, Ive seen too much of the ugly side of people.
